Too much to do and not enough time to do it?
Me too. I have a hunch we’re not the only ones feeling the pressure.
Parents today have a lot on their plates. Keeping up with nutritional findings, preparing healthy foods for your family, and getting your kids to eat them can be a full time job in and of itself. But raising a family is so much more than what’s for dinner.
Does your kid have special dietary needs?
Kids with food allergies, intolerances, digestive diseases, and diabetes have special dietary needs. This can be scary and overwhelming. It’s not uncommon for parents to be told to avoid a certain food or food group, like gluten or dairy. That’s never as easy as it sounds. Do you know how many foods have gluten in them? Lots and lots.
How do you translate your doctor’s advice into real life changes?
I am not a doctor or a registered dietitian. I’m not here to diagnose your kids or prescribe treatment. I’m here to help you make your doctor’s advice a reality. We’ll talk about your family’s favorite foods, acceptable alternatives, and new foods. Most importantly, we’ll talk about how to get your kids onboard with these changes.
You don’t have to spend a lot of time or money to ensure your kids have good food. You can stick to the diet your doctor recommends without going insane. I’m here to show you how.
What do you do when getting food on the table isn’t enough anymore?
You call me. Well, first, you pound your fists into a pillow in frustration…then you call me.
We’ll work together to get your family eating healthy food and we’ll do it without locking you in the kitchen. I’m a big believer in the 15 minute dinner and the 5 minute breakfast and lunch. I’m also a big believer in balance. Moderation in all things, right? It is possible to have a happy, healthy family without cooking from scratch every night like your grandma did.
My name is Sandie Law. Why does saying "my name is" always feel like you're at an AA meeting? Anyway, I'm a busy mom who's passionate about food and kids. Hey, look! A whole page
